Vindale Research extends many opportunities for its members to get paid for various types of research:

Evaluations

Similar in many ways to "secret shopping", Vindale's evaluations are designed to provide a realistic consumer experience when rating a product or service. Because the member acquires the product or signs up for the service without special access or privilege, they are able to genuinely assess the complete experience. In exchange, members are compensated for their time and effort; the compensation amount and acquisition costs (where applicable) are always disclosed before the member begins the evaluation.

Typical compensation - Between $5 and $75

Studies

Vindale also offers traditional research studies. Members who meet the study screening criteria are eligible for any associated reward upon completion of a simple questionnaire. No purchase is involved in a Vindale study.

Typical compensation - $1.00

Stream

In our effort to keep abreast of the many facets of consumer opinion and perception, we reward members for paricipating in opinion polls that relate to current news, events, and trends. Vindale Stream presents a fast and easy way for members to get paid for their opinion as part of this ongoing research.

Typical compensation - Between $0.25 and $1.00

Deals

Members who wish to "top up" their earnings can get cash back on purchases made through listed deals. Often times, deals constitute products the member might normally purchase anyway. By shopping through the Vindale Deals page, members can get cash back they would have otherwise missed out on.

Typical compensation - Between 1% and 10% cash back

What's involved in an evaluation?

Evaluations often offer the highest level of compensation, so new members often have a lot of questions about them. Here is how a typical evaluation works:

  1. We will invite you to try a new product or visit a popular web site. There are typically new opportunities every week.
  2. If you are interested, you can request the product or visit the web site and follow the evaluation steps. We will provide you with detailed steps on what to do and what to evaluate.
  3. After evaluating the product or web site, we will invite you to fill out a simple online questionnaire. This is where you share your experience and tell us how effective the product or web site was. Your answers are completely anonymous.
  4. We will add money to your Vindale account. Every evaluation is worth real money, not points. Typically, payment is between $5 and $75 per evaluation depending on difficulty level and availability. Every time your account reaches $50, we will send you payment.
